According to the product overview, the Akai SynthStation 49 is completely CoreMIDI compliant. This means it works with GarageBand (I’m 99% sure) because the app supports some MIDI keyboards via the Camera Connection Kit. So it seems logical that the SS49 will work as well. I could be wrong… If I am, a correcting comment below would be greatly appreciated.
