Apple September 2012 iPhone 5 Keynote and music making

Okay so the iPhone 5 got an A6 chip and a taller screen. The downside is that we’ll have to buy a $30 ‘Lightning’ adapter if we want to use our ‘old’ dock accessories with the new phone. There’s a note at the bottom of that Apple Store page that says “*Some 30-pin accessories not supported.” Hopefully, they’re referring to accessories that dock the device. Of course, the ‘Lightning’ update is going to be a pain, but I think it’s a fair trade for a bigger iPhone screen and the A6. Especially the screen – even if it’s just one more row of apps, that’s a lot for a phone. And if you use a lot of music apps on your phone (and I mean a lot) the screen size can be a big minus…

What about iOS 6 and inter-app audio?? Any news on that?
