Here’s a regularly updated list of iOS apps that either started as desktop versions and came to iOS, or started as iOS versions and went desktop. It’s very interesting to see how each of these apps are used on mobile and desktop computers. I also think that each of these are evidence of iOS music making potential.

I didn’t want to put those on their because they’re more ‘demonstrations versions’ of the apps. I know that Matt (Blip) made it mainly for people to try and see if they’d like the iPhone version…
I should probably at least put them in a section at the bottom of the post though!

miniMIXA was developed initially using Tao Group’s cross-platform “intent” operating system / portability layer. The first versions were developed and debugged on desktop; the first shipping versions were for Windows Mobile, and ran very well on lowly 100 MHz Windows Mobile Smartphones! By the time of version 3, we had the runtime working very well on the newer Symbian devices. Mixtikl is an evolution of miniMIXA, and still shares some of the original code base; but we re-engineered it to make it even more cross-platform; it now ships for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android … and hopefully Windows Desktop/Phone 8 in due course!

FL Studio PC has nothing to do with FL Studio Mobile, ZERO similarities!
FL Studio Mobile is developed by Music Studio.

true, but FL Studio desktop instruments can work with the ones in fl mobile…
from FL Studio mobile app store description: All instruments have FL Studio desktop counterparts for FL Studio desktop import and extension
