When you’re recording or looping in Impaktor and you want to change presets, it’s really hard to touch the screen and not trigger the synth. If you could control Impaktor from an extra iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth (WIST maybe?) / WiFi, you could interact with the app and not add any unwanted notes while recording. Your second device could just mirror what’s on the recording device and act as a controller. There is a mute button but it almost always triggers the synth when you unmute. Though I have found that on an iPad, when using a low input setting, you can turn the app’s orientation to upside down so that the microphone is on the opposite side of the device as the mute button, and lightly tap mute without triggering the synth…
