Loopy HD (which is a universal app, despite the HD) copies audio to both the Sonoma audio pasteboard and general (Intua) pasteboard, at the same time. Yet another app that can make the switch if you’re stuck on one of the pasteboards.
Before pasting the audio into Loopy, make sure that fit the ‘Fit imported loops’ setting, in ‘Settings’ > ‘Track management,’ is turned off. If it’s on, it will adjust the speed of the audio to fit the duration of one loop at Loopy’s BPM, which actually could be useful if you need to to change the speed.
