Always nice to see big names using iOS. Although it’s odd to see anyone using an iRig
The app is StudioMini XL for iPad.

Just interested , what don’t you like about iRig?
it’s an analog connection to your idevice, so it’s lower quality, plus if you’re using anything with distirtion you have an unbareable ammout of feedback, not to mention the thing costs about 30 cents to make and they charge 40 bucks (i believe) for it…
I have one (iRig), and at first I didn’t like it (problems with pops/clicks and noise) but they seem to have updated it and the quality is actually pretty good. I was a pro guitarist for a few years so I have expensive tastes regarding guitar tone, and it’s not bad at all. Not going to compete with vintage gear, but usable. Does anybody recommend any alternatives? Alesis iDock looks interesting
for live use, i reccomend the Alesis AmpDock, for everything else, either the GuitarJack 2, or iRiff Port
the apogee jam is also pretty good…
