Just got word from the developer of Orphion for iPad that he’s planning on adding Audiobus support!
Check out this Tumblr post on how Orphion, a very unique touch instrument app for iPad, came to be…

Just got a reply from the developer revealing plans for audio recording, MIDI support, and custom pad-layouts:
Audio recording will defiantly be the next step and included in the next update. An editor for custom pad-layouts is also planned, maybe with a sharing option on the internet.
I’ve already thought about MIDI in early design phases of the Orphion but at that time decided against it: I wanted to create a strong link between the interface and the sound like on every acoustic instrument. If you buy a violin it will always sound like one, although you can create many different sounds with it. Nevertheless I will integrate MIDI-Out later, so that anyone can create his own sound for the Orphion interface.
